The Tiffany Blue Box Cafe Hong Kong— Great Food & Ambience
It's an experience worth trying
It was my first time visiting the Tiffany Blue Box Cafe.
I came across this recommendation when scrolling through a few eatery suggestions in Hong Kong, which popped visually on my phone.
I apologize for the formatting and should remember to take horizontal photos because I focused on creating shorts for YouTube.
Interior
The aesthetic and visual qualities of the restaurant are marketable. Most of the advertisements coming in nowadays are probably from social media, and with the exaggerated blue tone, it easily pops out on everyone's smartphone device.
Food — The Best Part
I had reasonable anticipation for the food because many people were hyping about the restaurant's special — the lobster linguine. Not only that but many of their other items on the menu were praised as well. Here are a few shots of them.
I started with an appetizer, and I ordered the "Bird's Nest." The dish consisted of soft egg, truffle, Iberico ham, mache, water chestnut, and potato cream. I enjoyed it very much. All the ingredients seem to harmonize together to create a delicious experience for this first dish.
Probably one of the best linguine I've had the pleasure of eating. The hype and praise were true because I felt the same way after taking my first bite.
The main sauce is a lobster cream sauce reduced with cognac. It gave an extra boost to the umami flavor alongside the al dente pasta, making it one of the best dishes I've had in my life. The lobster was also cooked to perfection because it was bouncy in texture and not overcooked.
I also ordered a fish, but I didn't manage to take photos of it. If you're interested, you can check out my YouTube shorts because the video has the shot. Here is the link for those of you interested:
Finally, the desserts came, and I was very impressed with them.
The first dessert was a popcorn chocolate tart. It consisted of chocolate ganache, praline royaltine, caramelized popcorns, mascarpone cream, and vanilla ice cream.
It honestly appeared quite strange to me at first because I never had popcorn in this manner, but my thoughts changed immediately after taking the first bite along with the other elements of the dish.
The most important part: The popcorn was crunchy & tasted fresh! Not stale and chewy!
This is the last and final dish. The box toast consisted of danish, cream cheese mousse, banana caramel sauce, caramelized banana, and meringue.
This photo does not do it justice, so I recommend you check out the shorts I've listed above because the sauce that was hidden inside the toast gave me the ultimate mouthgasm.
Bursting with caramel, which the butter then melts with, creating this crazy concoction of a sauce, alongside the crunch & fluffy toast, was the ultimate indulgence for me.
Conclusion
Definitely recommend this place. The food is worth the price, and the ambiance adds to the experience.
